A Safe Space For Meaningful Change

Child & Adolescent Counselling

Supporting young minds through seasons of growth, change, and emotional development.

Navigating the Challenges of Growing Up

Childhood and adolescence are seasons of enormous growth and emotional development. While these years can be full of joy and discovery, they can also bring challenges that feel overwhelming for both young people and their families.

Child and adolescent counselling provides a safe, supportive space to explore thoughts and emotions, develop healthy coping skills, and build emotional resilience. Sessions are tailored to suit each child’s developmental stage, personality, and unique needs — using age-appropriate, gentle, and engaging approaches.

Partnering with Families

Working with young people often involves partnering closely with parents and caregivers. Where appropriate, sessions may include parent support and guidance, helping families better understand their child’s emotional world and learn practical strategies to support growth, connection, and wellbeing at home.

Parents are vital partners in the healing process. Your insight, involvement, and support at home play a key role in your child's progress and long-term wellbeing.

How We Begin

To ensure therapy is thoughtful, safe, and developmentally appropriate, we structure our initial intake based on age.

Under 14s

Parent Intake Only

Parents or legal guardians attend the initial session without the child present. This allows us to gather background history and clarify goals freely.

Ages 15–16

Flexible

Parent involvement in the first session is optional, guided by the preferences of the young person and the family.

Ages 17+

Independent

Young people attend their initial session independently. Parent involvement is at their discretion.
