Reaching out for support isn't always easy, and if you've found yourself on this page, chances are life feels heavy in some way. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, parenting, or simply feeling overwhelmed, you don't have to carry it alone.
I founded Metanoia Counselling because I believe that real change is possible, and that healing isn't about becoming someone else, but about gently uncovering who you were always created to be.
Before we look for solutions, I want to understand your story: a space where you feel safe, accepted, and free to be completely yourself, without fear of judgement.
How I work
My approach is warm, compassionate and person-centred. I work with adults, adolescents and couples, and see younger children by arrangement, supporting clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, life transitions, grief, attachment wounds, emotional regulation and parenting challenges. I draw from evidence-based approaches, tailoring each session to your individual needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
Faith, gently held
As a Christian counsellor, my faith shapes the way I see people: with dignity, hope and compassion. For clients who would like to include faith in their counselling journey, I'm happy to integrate this into our sessions. If faith isn't something you wish to explore, that's absolutely okay too. You will always be met with respect, warmth and acceptance.
Trained, and still training
I hold a Diploma of Counselling through the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors (AIPC) and am currently completing my Master of Counselling. I'm committed to ongoing professional development to ensure I provide ethical, evidence-based care.
Outside the counselling room
I'm a wife, mum of two young children, and actively involved in my local church. These roles continually remind me of the beauty and complexity of relationships, resilience, and the importance of having people who walk alongside us through every season of life.
Wherever you find yourself today, my hope is that you'll experience counselling as a place to pause, reflect, heal and grow. I'd be honoured to walk alongside you.
